I love companies in Minnesota!
Strange topic, huh? Bet though that most of the people are the same way. After all, those working at the company are from there. Over the years, as a part-time employee, you are able to work for a lot of companies and doing my work (field merchandising) the companies most often are out of state. I have found that people in Minnesota rank #1, and Texas is pretty good also. For 5 years I worked for a company in Plymouth, Minnesota. They had always been so very nice, great at Christmas, received a card and sometimes a small tuck-in like a pen on birthdays, etc. If you had a problem, they were also there, pleasant and helpful. When I had my stroke, I received a beautiful basket of plants - not even a card from the others. Well, I moved away from the area I was working (someone got a good job) and of course when I was ready to go back to work, there were no openings here. I found a job for a company that also served the place I worked, also in Plymouth, Minnesota. Because I stated that I worked for so-in-so company and they knew the quality of employees, I was lucky and got that job. Know what? They are just as helpful. Now why aren't all areas the same?
I kind of like their accent when I call too.
