day34 09.05.2014 mom's taking a break at last
Hello all,
Hope everythings going OK for you all out there.
Mom is taking a weekend break, starting today, she and my father went to our summerhouse today, after a month after the incident, my grandma's strok which took place on 08.02.2014 on a saturday at 5:30pm in the bathroom as she was taking a shower which we assume was to get rid of her headache which she never told us, and we won't ever know...probably she had the idea of not telling that her head was in pain, that she had a severe headache, and she decided to take a shower to relax...there she was after 5 mins, lying in the bath tub, trying to lift her whole body via her left hand holding the tap valve...=(
I was with grandma yesterday and she was looking really good except the pneumonia in her lungs, she cant cough as hard to get rid of that white matter in her lungs and throat maybe...there are times she wants to cough it and try and swallow whatever that thing is, but she cant do it properly...but she can still cough up to some extent...let's say a good 30-40% if you'd call a proper cough 100% where you could cough your lungs out...Ohhh, I sound so disgusting, sorry about the details...=)
Her non used right arm and leg have started to get purple in some ares...I guess gravity is working against all organs and unused parts...so there are some purple spots on her arm and leg on her unused right side...Mom and the nurse rubs the right part, giving them a good sensitive touch and action, and also they apply some baby oil and cream...some kind of preserving medicine I believe...but still, gravity is doing it...harming the body...
Grandma is now on antibiotics for the pneumonia...Hope she can get rid of that white matter on her lungs soon...she was like that for the last 5 years though, she had a constant cough every 2 weeks, did not matter if it was winter or summer, she had that cough...since she had her breasts removed for curing her, it was breast cancer she dealt with, 20 years ago, back in 1994. She was perfect after that cancer...she recovered well, was fine...the only thing was that her lenf nodes were removed and her left arm (now her only moving arm) has doubled in size...due to body tissues piling up in her arm since the lenf nodes did not exist on her left part of the body.
And now...the stroke...which she is dealing for the last 34 days...thumbs up...
have a fabulous weekend out there everyone.
Healthy and happy days to you all,
Cheers,
Cagin
