The local city recreation department secures sponsors for a free concert series on the banks of the mighty St. Clair river.

River is an understatement, it is a straight that ultimately links lake Huron with the lower great lakes erir and Ontario.

I took the bus there found an empty seat in shade and waited. A bus buddy asked me to join her and her friends.

A local celebrity performed

Neil diamond, loggins and macibs, john Denver and Harry chapin.

Fun singing along.

A few thousand people and I didn't see one other person that I knew.

It was fun and the weather was lovely. What a blessing.
