Emrrassing moment, before the laughter

After getting off the bus for my morning coffee, I tripped over a landscape planter ، my first thought in a split second was man this is going to hurt. Then I recalled there are trees in the planters so I tumbled and stumbled another 6 ft unyil my hands found the tree.

A truely embarrassing moment, now thinking about it I was unharmed ( physically, anyway) I must have been a funny sight to see this 50+ year old grappling for a tree trunk so as not to fall on my face. I can laugh about now , 20 minutes post incident, of course I looked around to see if anyone saw my mishap. Too early for many people to be around.

So I must kook silly mow drinking my coffee sitting in a rocking chair in front of my coffeehouse looking across the street at the scence of the crime laughing out loud at myself. Life is grand and I'm blessed to be here.

Peace, love, joy and prayers,

Jay

Sounds like me when I tripped over a sprinkler and my shoe got caught on it and I went down on the concrete.  Crawled on my belly to the post near the dog run....nobody around....nobody to hear my calls for help, so I had to pull myself up - no boot straps to grab onto...dust myself off and stumble into the house.   I still have the bruises and scars to show for it 4 yr. later, but don't recall laughing about it.    lol

I am so glad you are not hurt & found tree to hug & balance yourself. I feel falling with us survivors is so easy.

Sardemacher, sorry to hear about your fall that resulted in injury, thankfully mine did not so I could laugh. Be well my friend

Asha so good to hear from you

I too think falling is easy for us. The whole balance issue and unsteady gait.

Sue I laughed so hard with your comment as a proud liberal I am happy to finally fufill the ne I have been called in the past ( as an insult) a tree hugger.

I love the comments they always mean so much to me.

Thanks friends love,

Jay
