Another glorious day to be alive

While having coffee at my favorite coffee house, a young woman whom I hired as a supervisor when I was still working came in to get six coffees for her coworker they are having a meeting next door, looking forward to seeing them when they take a break, they all worked under my supervision when I was able to work.

Also ran into ( poor choice of words) I saw a friend that I haven't seen in months, he too is a stroke survivor, he took a cruse a few months ago and it has taken him a few months to regain his balance and ability to walk. Note to self seriously consider if I ever really want to go on a curse, if balance is an issue after,

Anyone have a similar experience?

I have taken cruise multiple times after my stroke & I never had any trouble with my balance after cruise or during cruise. I find cruising is best & accommodating vacation.

Asha thanks for the input I needed to hear from more than one person. Your experience is insightful. We are all very different.

Thanks,

Hey sassy I couldn't agree more, I was saddened to not be a part of there meeting, and even more so when nobody came into the coffee house to say hi, I guess part of me wants to believe the person tha5 took over after I left, decided not to give them a break therefore nobody had a chance to say hi. I need to hold on to that otherwise the alternative is nobody wanted to see me. I don't believe that for a second.

I was a great boss prestroke and I never should have gone back to work 7 months post stroke. I can see now I wasn't ready to go back, but at the time I needed the money and the social contact.
