Wow two years a survivor
From what I hear I'm glad I don't remember a lot of my initial month post stroke since I was in intensive care
I always tell people Postel newbies the new normal isn't good isn't bad it's just different I really accustom to this new normal and I'm kinda liking it.
When I think about how far I've come in the last 2 years I am just humbled and the support and encouragement that I get from the people on this website.
Can't forget the support of friends and family.
I must admit just like they can't understand what we're going through is stroke survivors we can't know what they're going through as caretakers four stroke survivors.
It's been an interesting journey and I'm glad it's just started I've got many many years ahead of me.
I am so blessed to have friends like you and then my friends in the real world I am so humbled I am so thankful for every day and I noticed a new be posted I'm just so glad to be alive there are days I just want to scream I'm alive.
The biggest challenge I face right now is financial.
Department of Health and Human Services gave me food stamps for 5 weeks and told me that they would be requesting additional information and different letter which never came of course now I don't have any food stamps the frustration of dealing with the state bureaucracies.
Maybe I can focus my energy there and try to make it a more efficient system for everyone involved.
Be blessed and be a blessing,
Thanks for all your support over the last year.
Jay
