A good friend of mine is directing a show this weekend in the local theater in my town and knowing that the show opens tomorrow I knew we would be at the theatre doing last minute prep so I stopped to give him moral support and it was so nice to be able to stand on the boards once again and look out into the auditorium this time all the seats were empty but it was such a joy to be there and realizing just how blessed I am to still be here and moving forward I will be able to participate in theater productions just behind the scenes of course I've always said I worked with high school students along with my wife backstage on productions and I told them Tech crew does not get the curtain call your pleasure and joy needs to come from the fact that the reason the actors are getting the applause they're getting is because of what you did behind the scenes prior to this statement to a group of kids one year but the best things true always went out to take a bow after that it never happened again I also told them if they wanted the accolades of that applies to go through the auditions and the other weeks of rehearsal then they can earn that right to be out there to take their and bow.

Again it was so lovely to be standing on that stage looking out past the glare of the lights to the empty seats
