My title to my blog is misleading, we no longer are part of the working world, Yang and I are both medically retired. We enjoy our retirement these days, but some weeks get so busy and wear us out that we pick days to become our days off. These days are reserved for sleeping/napping, vegging on the sofa and just being lazy, and not leaving the house for anything.

Well I had to come and visit here, Yang is a movie buff. I'm not. Yesterday he insisted I had to watch "Harold and Maude" today it was "It's a Mad, Mad World" I watched it for 29 minutes (6 minutes of that was the long drawn out opening credits and silly song.) He kept telling me it was a hilarious movie and I needed to stay open minded about it. OK, I was there stuck on the sofa, watching it....waiting for the hilarity to begin. There was one obvious joke when a guy died and he literally kicked a bucket. OK, so that was a bad joke and extremely obvious. Not my type of movie at all. I found myself getting up for things that I didn't need and then I just slipped in here to blog.

Things are going really well with Sophie. She is intelligent and she has stolen our hearts. She had her first vet visit yesterday and she never cried with her shots. She also was calm in a waiting room full of large dogs. I was impressed.

Well yang took himself off to the garage to work on a project. I think it is safe to go back to the living room.
