Hibernating
This last week I have been in semi-hibernation...lol. I don't mind. I had over down a bit the last few weeks.. I KNEW I was, but sometimes you just don't have the choice. You try to DO what is expected and sometimes what is "necessary".
So I did. .. I know I will get "down" time and usually find a way to push thru most of what I need to do. I do get cranky when I get tired.. and quiet. John has learned the signs..lol.
We have had some snow off n on this week, so it has been easier to hibernate. My recliner, my daughter made me a beautiful quilt, just right for snuggling in the recliner, usually 2 or 3 of the dogs snuggling with me... and my lap top... I am happy as a clam at high tide.
I didn't want to use the quilt.. it is colorful and cheery.. Tracy said mom you can wash it.. and I made it for you to use.. I also got an e mail.. about people "saving" things ..for "good" never taken out of the box... and then the person passes on.. and something they thought was beautiful was never used. Enjoy what you love and cherish now.. wear it, use it... display it. bring back the smile on the day you got it.
We may not get out of the house as much as we used to... so these days, I call my hibernation days in the winter... surfing the net, doing some crocheting.. snuggling with the dogs. catching up with e mails. Some days making a pot of soup...
Hopefully in another month I will be starting some little seeds, I want to plant a small garden this year.
Sunday is super bowl.. and I have a very enthuastic football husband..LOL
