The tooth is out!

Well, the tooth pulling wasn't so bad after all. They gave me gas, which of course helped a lot and I actually had a problem trying not to laugh while he was getting it out. That stuff works great! It took about 3 minutes. I had around 7 shots of novacaine, 3 of them were in the roof of my mouth. OUCH!! I think one went up my nose cavity or something because I found myself swallowing novacaine. NASTY!!

They wound up working in there about 3 hours instead of 2. Oh well, all over and done with now. He told me not to smoke for at least 24 hours. I couldn't do it, so now I hope I don't get dry socket. My sister had it once and said it's terribly painful. I guess I'll be out of the woods completely in a couple of days.

I know I'm such a wimp, but I swear I was more worried about that damn tooth pulling than I am about the upcoming surgery next month. June 13th. They finally called me today to confirm it.

Oh well, onward bound!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! smile.gif

Cindy,

Glad it is over and wasn't that bad for you. I know those needles feel like they are up your nose or coming out of the side of your cheek.

The last time I had gas I was a kid and I remember the cool dreams I had, like the centipede that had different colored sneakers( converse, remember those?) on every one of his feet and he looked hilarious when he ran with all those sneakers.

Thanks you guys.

Cinder, the next time you get your teeth cleaned tell them it hurts and you want the gas. They charge extra for it, but what the heck. It sure helps and is really fun!!! beer.gif
