:welcome: Bob,
I don't think your crazy either! I have a brother who lives in Raleigh, NC and I live in Carrboro, NC. He rarely comes over to see me. Then I have another brother who lives in Taos, NM. He would come over and see me except for the fact that he lives so far from me. I call them more than they call me. It's the same with close friends. We all have to stick together here on Stroke Net, since we are all one family dealing with stroke issue.

Linda,
I had two strokes one in 2006 it effected my right side. The second one I had in Sept. 20, 2010. I had an operation on my Aorta and it caused me to become parlayed form the waist down. I am doing pretty good now. My wife takes good of me! I would be lost without her!! We've been married for 36 years.

Hi LSL,
I think you should be proud of who you are and go with that. I was depressed for a while after my stroke but I quickly got over it and have been thinking good thoughts about myself. I also have to thankl God for sparing my life. Life is precious and shold be valued. Trust in God and he will show you the way.
