I think your friend used offense as part of defense. this is my opinion, since after stroke I realized life is too short to keep grudges. forgive her be bigger person here so forgive her & forget the episode. lot of normal people don't realize health crisis are so big o handle unless they get one.     hey Patty: I am quite spiritual person, but in the begining months right after my stroke my depression or thoughts never allowed me to look at positives in my life. pressure used to get built up in me to think of anything positive. dor me antidepressant did take the edge off & I started reading some of the good books like path through suffering, ripple effect & also blogging here was the first few steps I took to accept newme and embrace my new life.   7. Sue: there is no point in telling you take it easy sue. you like to keep yourself occupied in your volunteer work. I actually love the time when I don't have little to show for it, that means you actually did something you can relax and enjoy. pray your second week of respite also goes smoothly without any hitch. Asha
  8. Jan: that's heartbreaking.please pass my condolencses to Holi's family. her 2 little daughters & husband will be in my prayers. her dtrs & husband now got angel watching over all of them Asha

    hey Donnie: welcome to wonderful world of blogging. you are at right place now. I know how lonely I felt in the begining years of my stroke. I stroked at 34. & Now I am 40. I personally found blogging very therupetic. Initially I used to blog every day. now I blog less frequent. we would like to know more about you. In the begining lot of us bloggers did 100 things about me to acquaint with others in our blogworld. I am glad your friend convinced you to join this site. This site was Godsent for me & saved me from my dark hours. Asha
  12. Erin: wow I finally hace caught up on your life. I am so glad that Jake started back to work. going back to work is big step towards recovery stage of person's life. I tried going back to work for few months but then decided to retire & became stay at home mom it was very hard pill to swallow & I still struggle with it from time to time. but I am determined to make lemonpies from my lemos.     i new blogger: welcome to our wonderful blogging community. from your blogs I understand your husband suffered stroke & you have 2very young children. I suffered stroke at age 34 massive stroke which left me paralysed on my left side. I remember how scared my husband was when I first came home. Things have become smoother at all levels of my life. my stroke made my marriage very strong. my son was just 6 & in 1st grade. now he is in 7th grade & mature young adult. will love to know more about you, jake & your kids.
