  4. hey Leah: sorry about the fall & glad it wasn't bad one, everything still intact except your pride. every experience be it good or bad if used as learning tool, life becomes pleasant. staying in ER alone that's some guts. I am sure Jerry is feeling very proud of you.
  5. hi Mary: I spent my first year crying & mourning loss of my old self, but for me blogging on this site made me look beyound my negatives and once I started focusing on positive things on my stroke life became wonderful again. I am 5 years post my stroke. I accepted loss of my old life & made beautiful new life with lot of joy. I stroked at age 34 so it was very difficult to adjust in the begining, but now I enjoy my stay at home mom who gets paid role. check out our blog community, and more you stick around here easier it will get I promise you that.   18. hey Wes: I understand your feeling of well running dry, but do come here from time to time & update us about your wonderful life post stroke. I too used to write every day now stopped, since I get even lot out of reading other's blogs. I find my stroke was part of my life's journey & it has made me wiser & better person & I am thankful for that. Asha

  21. hey Jeanniebean: I hope in your walk meditation you realize that there are no incidents in our life good or bad. yes it feels bad that you were anticipating to this event for a long time and it did not go as you had planned, but so what you made great lemonade out of that bad feeling so your day was still good, by going for a walk, and making friends with yourself. that reminds me I should go for a walk right now.
