Kimmie: your tone can be addressed with botox and then go for walkaide. I am glad your Tonya is doing good post surgery. Happy Thanksgiving to you too and I am surprised you and Donna still friends even while supporting arch rivals. I guess we need to thank stroke for that. I will be rooting for both teams since I want to be friends with both of you. Asha
  6. Kathy: I can't believe you are new to blogging, your blogs are very interesting, it's always fun reading your blog. I am happy Berry is alright and I too worry about it, but I think if I can handle stroke, I bet I can handle anything. your generating new income was funny and I bet keeping in a jar and at the end of year will find surprising results. there is one thing I read someplace " don't worry about the thing you don't have any control over it" real estate market has slowed down, but hasn't busted, so houses might stay longer in the market but they do sell out. Asha

Asha
  15. hey Donna: your both girls look lovely. you are one strong woman, trying to figure out and fight the system god luck in medical trnsporttion, even redcross also provides medical reansportation, and their volunteers are better. Asha
  16. Jean: I am glad that your total disaster had turned into mere inconvience with timing. today I had frusraion with my onetouch can opener though I gave away my problem to hubby to get me out of mess again, and ofcourse he did it. what would I do without my caregiver, my soulmate, my hubby. I love my country

hey clark: I don't like to comment on political views since everybody has their own view on situation. I too sometime sulk at the way Indian government runs the country, things I view as suffering is way of life for many in those countries. same is true for this country, not everything will be perfect, but there are lot of things which works in this prt of world, though lot of problems has been created in rest of the world by these so called advanced countries. I am glad blogging is helping you as good therapy. Maybe steve should start charging Asha
  18. hey Karen: so happy to see your blog, it is always nice to know my friends are doing good, your job in northslope sounds interesting but everything in Alaska is different and interesting. we had great time in cruise. we saw all the wild animals, saw lot of salmons, lot of whales, dolphins and few bears too. It was awesome trip going to last me for few years til I take another memorable vacation, I was too cold there to go and chill on the deck in the night sky to see those stars. hubby & kido would love to go Alaska again some day, I think I will convince them to go in summer. Down day

Doug: I am sorry you are having down day today, don't let others judging you get to you, only God knows the truth & can judge us. it does not matter what your parents or whole world think of you as long as you think good about yourself and love yourself, you don't have to prove anybody wrong or right. I know advice is easy to give, but don't let ignorant ppl hurt you anyways. lot of hugs Asha
  20. Jean: such a cute wonderful love story, it made me all teary and thankful about having found my own soulmate in my life who without his speech issues can still drive me nuts though I feel immensely fortunate to have him in my life. Asha

    battling on

hey Ken: sorry to hear about your friend's losses. we all have come to this world with return ticket and have to make best out of every single day, so that we have created lasting memories for friends and families. I love treadmill, first time when I had tried they had put harness on me, and PT was making sure my leg placements were correct, though I have since stuck with treadmill, that's the only thing I can do without any pain. so keep at it, and you will get it there.
