  3. hey Marden: you indeed have great busy life, time just flies by when things are going on great, I just remember in your last blog you were talking about Prom night and now your dtr is in college. you must be proud mom. Thanks for updating us about your busy life. It is good to know life does go on post stroke. Asha
  4. Ken: It's okay to vent, It is indeed frustrating to see can't go to places due to wheelchair accessible issues. though hopefully that wil give you more strength to be able to walk without wheelchair. Asha

    kids moving out

    hey Kimmie: you have every right to brag about your kids, we all have, I think that is the reason I survived stroke to see my kid grow up into fine humanbeing, get married and give me few grandbabies to play with. I will be so happy. Asha

I also found achor of my life on this site, met lot of great people, made great friends. you will see all of us survivors have different kind of injury some are lucky, some are not so but we all realize there is wonderful life after stroke.     yo soy kristina....

    hey Kristina: I call myself survivor and not victim, there r days when I am sitting and crying those days I m victim to stroke the other days when I get out of bed and make most out of my life, giving my son his mom back I feel like survivor. as years have gone by my victim days pretty scarce. oh well stroke took my left hand but guess what I never used much b4. Asha
  10. hey Jean: you and Don are lucky after 7-1/2 years still finding doctors and thrapist who still has hopes and suggest therapy has to be good. that AFO looks interesting, hopefully it will help Don walk. Asha

    hey Leah: I had been wondering about your vacation so nice to see your update, pool therapy is great, and I bet in your next vacation you will not be renting wheelchair. keep the exercises up even if it feels like pain, it is maintance work for all of us to not to slide backwards Asha

    Anne: glad you had great weekend, isn't it wonderful to have home insurance, in ou old house that's how our remodeling of the house had begun before we decided it to sell and move into bigger house. I love to spend time with friends and family on the weekend. Asha

    14 Months and going

    hey Zain: I was so happy to see your blog and update about Farhaan I often wondered how you all are doing, I am so happy for Farhaan's recovery so far, you could look that part of Farhaan as worst of his life, now it could only get better.     Aquatic Therapy

    Jean: I am very happy for both of you for your land and aquatic therapy, I always thought and heard return of leg is easier since we walk on our legs, you should also keep goal of being able to walk with cane it will be good for your back and good for Don. Asha

  24. hey Kristen: gooray for Patrick, I am sure slowly somewhere he is going to find his groove his niche and make a difference in world. I am sure he is already doing that right now. he did amazing job of manuvering public transportation, keep on adding new stops such that library, doctor's office,grocery store and you will find one independent guy.
