Ann: I agree with you your duty as caregiver don't change, you need to keep eye on the staff such that Bill gets best care and dignity he deserves. being in hospital in itself makes you feel so hepless and that's why I think having patient's advocate is so important. Asha -

hey Betty Jean: we missed you and wondered about you and Jim, Congratulations on Jim's 1st anniversary, first couple of years post stroke years are hardest when you are still trying to adjust to new lifestyle with new limitation. Happy for Jim's continueing improvement life becomes so much easier with all those progress, make Sure Jim walks more independently. hey Doug: My hubby worked in Saudi from 86-88, and when he lived there, they would cover their windows since if any woman complained about guys peeking through window can loose their eyes by thse God police and as nonmuslim u r guilty till proven otherwise. Asha

Donna: as we talked your concerns are well founded but don't aggrevate your BP over it. look at the good side atleast Kido knew grandma was doing something bad so she shared her part of the conversation with you, which is biggest proof you got mature kido though teenager o your hand, no doubt sometimes they will want to play out with your parental limits. make Kristi uderstand moving to PA is for both of your good and it's not just for you. having family support is equally important emotionally and financially. take a deep breathe and remember "This shall too Pass" Asha

Fred: I often wonder now post stroke what gives me happiness, now I realize ost stroke all the small things I had taken for granted gives me lot of happiness, like today shopping for my son's back to school supplies made me so happy, the joy on my son's facing in finding Jack sparrpow made me happy. taking him to swimming pool makes me happy. I realize hard way what matters in my life. Asha

Kristen: I was so happy to see your blog, and your update, we do want to see before and after picture in swimming costume. glad you had great time with family and friends. you do have busy life with Patrick and Brandon. hope monetary system works but don't give it to him for spending, you should keep tab of the money or else you won't know what he is spending money in. hey Katrina: maybe you should buy shoes with velcro instead of shoelaces, and you can buy at wallmart for 12 bucks. I m sorry that you fell but with untied shoelaces it's like asking for accident to happen, luckily nothing got hurt. we are all very proud of you with disability you are able to roam through campus I just visited college campus and God they r so huge, tackling them every day will keep you fit and healthy Asha
