    Reflections

hey Yin & Yang Happy first anniversary, your writings and thoughts remind me of one very good friend I made here on strokenet. I miss her terribly so keep on blogging more often such that I don't miss her so much, I like your Yang's idea of cooking and staying outdoors in summer, and your romantic dinner infront of fireplace, you both r lucky to have each other in their life Asha
  2. Kristen: wow I am so happy you had great time in lasvegas and glad Patrick could walk that much on the strip, I always get tired, last we had gone our son was still in stroller, now he is 10, I enjoy lasvegas alwas for few days. Asha

hey Kim: I also grieved for long time for not given TPA but I have made peace with myself, that God knows what was good for me, if drs concern had come true me being hemmorsging & dying then it would have been bigger loss for my family and my son than just loosing hand. I am okay and happy to be alive I know you will grieve over your loss but then time to pick yourself up and start enjoying life Asha

  10. hey Denny: are you crazy, even healthy people get heartattack in shoveling snow, and here you are 2 times bypass surgery survivor and stroke survivor attempting this, you are crazy , and I am sure God was watching over you, so you came out unscathed. I am sure your wife values your life more than 3 prescriptions Asha
  11. Susan: I love your style, being young survivor myself too, I also feel the same way that stroke is no longer defines me as a person, but I am redefining stroke, we all have lot to look forward to, you specially. hey Bob: It was so much fun chatting with you, though I did not recognize your new id, and your new adventuresounds like fun though lot of hard work, though every new startup is lot of work, when I worked in small startup when we were launching our product first time there were so many glitches in the begining, but important thing is perserve at it, and it will turn out to be success, and do give us your address, such that we can listen in too. Good luck Asha
  18. Mary: I was so happy to see your blog, I am glad your party went well, kids r darlings, can't shoot them, and can't live without them, but as usual you are on right theme, it's phase they will grow out of it, As Sue rightfully pointed out about comparison, we all have to look how far we have come, and stop comparing to others. I know you know this, but bear with me it's slow day here for me at work today. Happy Valentine's day Asha
  19. slmstrokeangel: kids try to push to see how far you will let them go, you have to be firm, and tell her loving way, this way is not going to be tolerated, My son who was 7 at the time of my stroke gave me hard time, but with my love and hubby's strong support I hanged in there, now he is 9, we are good friends, though he still pushes my buttons from time to time, but atleast basic respect has returned. so just hang in there, love will make the way. Asha
