don't listen to negative comments doctor said, In rehab they were forcing me to walk with cane and I had kept my vigil saying I will never walk with cane and I will go home without cane though I came home with cane but I never used it, even in bathroom they were teaching me how to transfer by holding, I insisted on not using anything. I think for leg atleast I think things come faster since we use it a lot

I m from India and moved in US for good, I from time to time feel bad about wasting so much food, clothes, toys in US. do you think ourkidsappreciate us more for material things we give them, I think love matters most to them and being there in their adversity is worth more than any materialstic things, I feel guilty even asking anything from God when we have so much other things in abundance,I know our kids just want love from us, not money, how many kids of rich parents have you seen doing well, I think we as parent show them right path and education, its their destiny to make it good or bad of theur future

we all are allowed to have melt down once in a while, but remember that you also have lot of good days, its wonderful to have loving and supportive husband. you got to believe and have faith that this downhill ride will get over, and later ride will be only upwards.

In real estate market things get ppraised differently, maybe you got better deal then those people who paid 45k more, so be happy u got great deal instead of worrying. In real estate market no price is right, you only need 1 desparate buyer, I have seen that hapening in our case itself for 2 years we were looking for house and finally paid 50k above the market price, we were worried for little while, but now when we look back and connect dots, I think we did great decision, we love our house, and prices have appreciated handsomely over past 3 yrs

I m no expert on relationship, but I know you have to do some adjustments for anyone you live with, and it is always give and take in relationship, ok that's my 2 cents.

that's great news, I tend to agree with you for me also first 6 months were very hard, my son's new year and focused in his work has kept me more content this year, I m happy to be mommy than Asha, you r one brave survivor who always looks at bright side of every one.

that's great idea, people just recovering from aftermath of stroke will feel better and realise there is life after stroke and its not so bad either

glad you had fun in your cousins wedding party, I guessed you would and patrick would enjoy meeting more people, after my stroke and I m also 35, I love going to party and joining dance and whole nine yards, I always loved dancing before and I know people also get highly encouraged by seeing someone so less fortunate still having so much fun, so overall its great booster for me and others

jean is right, it takes time to get adjusted to each others patterns, sometime people take out their anger on minor stuff, my mom live with my brother and family, I used to think for longest time my sister-in-law is not adjusting she is mean and so forth, after my stroke realised she was also very good human being, but just with her point of views, and my mom has her own flaws, it is nothing to do with you being burden or anything, everybody needs to adjust with new situation

so just hang in there for urself and ur hubby

It is sad that after going through stroke you still haven't learnt patience what I truly believe that any adversity hit in my life is opportunity given us to grow spiritually and rectify our flaws, atleast you are feeling remorse for it, you recognised your mistake so next time you will be more tolerant, nothing in life is waste if we learn from it

are you sure he (Daniel) was not associated with Amway, I have burned by these Amway agents more than few times that now if anybody tries to be too friendly I get suscipicious of their ulteriro motives

Amway is pyramid chain kind of business which I don't want to get involve in

that's very good that everything is normal, and don't worry about another stroke, we can not change our destiny so why worry

it was llong 2 weeks for me, missed you dearly, I love your arrogance one would think after stroke it will die down, but yours is bouncing with full force, Idon't know whether its good or bad, let's just say Im very different than you, but like your attitude.

I hope apart from fighting you and peter also had good time together, did he like woodstock

that's wonderful, within few weeks Lisa will be home and u might find out that she might come home without wheelchair, make rehab work on her climbing stairs also such that yo might not need to put liftchair on stairs.

its so wonderful that you are volunteering in school system, I want to do it too, but right now I will have to be content with volunteeringin his school activity, as soon as my driving comes I will get my degree evaluated and maybe become substustute teacher or something, but I m very happy for you, you are best mom keeping tab on activity in school, I am trying to become good mom, I think amy even though you would like to think otherwise once a teacher is always a teacher, and don't read those eval reports, its all past you are way ahead in a game now, y worry about past, u have proved them all wrong anyways. I started volunteering in Ashay's sunday school kind of classes where they do arts and crafts prayers and stuff. I thought of telling stories but I sucked big time last sunday, I need to do better job in it, my reply is also jumping all over the place
