    NOT ENOUGH ROCKS

Pam: can you write in simple english such that idiots like me can understand this deeper questions I really am very happy for you, Though some of things in your life I won't follow, but in rest of the stuff you and Jean are my role model Asha
  4. Amy: I m ?Hindu and Indian, I want to be cremeted, and my ashes will be thrown in holy river of India Ganges or maybe Niagara falls. our 1 day old daughter also got cremeted, It was so surreal and weird feeling when my family was discussing how to cremete her body, oh man I don't want to relive those days, but I think once our soul leaves the body I don't care what they do with my body put it in body world museum I don't care Asha
  5. Vicky: maybe I married right or hubby married wrong, I never had to worry about anything in household chores, we both finish them off together, and I have been promising myself that I will clean our bathrooms, but before I get to it, hubby finishes off and I m not into I want this way or that way as long as it gets done, I don't care how it got done Sometime it also makes sense to outsource some of those jobs, maybe you can call cleaning lady twice a month, you can afford it, its not that bad at all hope tomo is better day for you Asha

  10. hey AJ: that's funny that's bad you lost chance to do betting on it ,atleast you are not telling same story million times like some people do. My mom does that all the time since I was child, since her 30s, I guess her theory might be telling the fact few times it makes it right you made me smile with these funny strke story Asha

    I AM HOMESICK

hey Kim: Give it a time, you have just moved one month ago and you are still in US, you can always drive back and meet them, pretty soon this state will become your home. when I came from India, it was huge adjustment for me, but there were lot of things were in my favor, and now NJ,USA has become home to me, I can't imagine going back to India and live there. though visiting is ok Asha
  12. hey AJ: don't apologize for complaning, for each of us whatever problems we encounter are the biggest one, only key is that even after whining you are still moving ahead is important and not stuck at your problems, I know all our problems are big but life still goes on, you have to accept that new you and mak most out of it, sorry I m giving you advice but It feels great to give advice then take it, have you try writing down events on journal such that you can always refer it back to see what did u do hour back always remember there is someone far worse off than u Asha
  13. hey AJ: I don't know what to say intelligently to this blog, I think I will leave it on Jean and Pam, though I think its ok to be disabled, maybe that is part of acceptance journey. I hated to be called disabled but what do you know I m now but that does not mean I m any less of Asha I was used to be, I feel I m now better Asha with compassionate view of the world and not doing any lip service any more Asha
  14. hey AJ: I m from India but based in USand practice Hindu Religion. I will not call Hindu as religion, it is more or less way of life. I believe in God. after my stroke I read lot of religious kind of books which was talking about suffering and stuff and it refers Jesus as God and it had gave me lot of peace reading those books so I follow only 1 rule, I believe in God and you can name it whatever you want to name it it could be jesus/alllah/or 1000s indian deity's name. I think I like to view it as everybody has God within themselves too, as long as I follow right path and don't harm anyone, I should be ok doesn't matter what religion I follow. I was never religious person but I have faith, I don't know i m making any sense or not but that's my cocktail of all religions Asha

    GOTTA FESS UP

Kim: I am still trying to understand why you would not tell truth to your employer. why you should be ashamed of your condition, hey it was accident and could happen to anyone. no one is mortal around here, I agree with Jean and tell truth to your employer rather they run wild with silly ideas Asha
  16. Sheila: I can truely understand your feelings, sometime when we try to please everyone by accepting their opinions, but I think life is too short so if you want to do something with your son, go ahead and do it, I always wanted to go to Europe and every time due to vacation conflicts and stuff we had postpond our trip, so after my stroke we decided let's go when I still have chance, there were so many counter arguments by hubby why it won't be great in packaged tour, and last year we did it, and hubby enjoyed the most, and this year we are visiting India (we are from India), ans hubby wants to do packaged tour in India too . point I m trying to say sometime we listen to opinions and don't do things which we would like to do and when something bad happens it becomes our loss, so I strongly feel, do whatever makes you happy Asha
  17. Pam: I am happy you are having great time of your life and able to laugh on yourself. I do similar mistakes from time to time. glad you are back though lots of love Asha
  18. hey Amy: missed your blogs but knew it you are busy with Mad, our spring break is on april 10, I m sure you will get lonely without constant chatter in the house now that she will go back to school Asha

    MY NEW LIFE

Kim: I know I might get blasted for this, but your story reminds me that you both are destined to meet each other, and maybe because of that you both went through lot of hardship to be together. Now that you have found your soulmate, hang onto him, you guys r meant to be together. God bless you couple Asha
  20. Kristen: you wrote your feeling so nicely, I had to wonder is that me describing my feelings, but when I go through that phase, I just think if my daughter who had if survived after born being premie and going through same fate as me, would I have not been able to handle that , so I always think whatever I got, yep its bad, but God has given me courage to handle the situation at the best of my capability, and also everyone goes through problems in their life, and mine is this one, also this is my down ride but it can't stay thisway forever it has to come up, those are my survivor techniques. one more thing start enjoying life with patrick now can't do I will be happy when my hand works time to be happy is now, we don't have guarantee of future, jujuar this moment is guranteed, so do whatever you want to do now Asha

    AN OUTSOURCE PERSON

Marty: sometime I get marketing call from India and finding me Indian they think I will listen to their sales speech and buy stuff, not me, I feel bad though telling them I m busy and hanging up on them
  22. Sheila: I feel much better after seeing your blog, I know few friends of mine keep on complaing about their pain and how they are overworked, gets me so annoyed sometime cmon deal with the life people are far worse off than you are. I know I should not minimize their pain but hello wake up smell the coffee and look around you. that's wh I make a point of not complaing about my problems, bad thing happened I have to deal with it, I m still in the game og my life Asha (stroked at 34 too and now 36)
  23. hey AJ: I kinda missed you and your blog, well you know what I m pretty nosy person, and I love reading people's blogs and their comments on my blog, I have learned so much from my blogs and others so keep on blogging, I will try not to judge , but by the end of the journey you could care less about judging Asha

    single living

Jean: I don' think doing guy's laundry and other stuff makes you satisfied in relationship, I think being married to the person and for the love of the family, you want to contribute in your family that will include all chores in it, and I m not saying only woman has to do it, its both partners responsibility whoever is capable of doing should do it and think about others. I always think marriage is our reunion, and we both have to make it work for our and our partner's sanity Asha
