swilkinson
Mike, life is uncertain these days and now you have this to cope with as well. No advice except to take each day as it comes. If you are close enough see your brother as often as you can, make new memories, find something that makes you both laugh. If the worst happens you will remember the happy memories. The dream of going fishing may still come true, none of us knows what the future holds.
becky1
Like Sue, I can't think of any words to say except that I'M SORRY THAT YOU AND YOUR BROTHER HAVE ANOTHER ORDEAL TO GO THROUGH. i THINK THAT SUE'S SUGGESTION IS good one: Yes, see your brother as often as you can, Bring in old family photos to talk and laugh about. TAKE WALKS OUTSIDE WHEN HE CAN. Make fishing trip plans. Whatever makes you both feel good. And remember that you both have a lot of friends here at Strokenet who are praying for you both. ksmith
Mike, I agree with spending as much time together and say everything you want to talk about. My heart aches with the sadness you have to go through but I'm glad it will be shared between the both of you 💓

heathber
I do hope they let him come home to you soon. Especially as it sounds like there's not much they can do for him in hospital and he is getting distressed. I suggest you call the ward and ask the nurses to let him have his phone at night, although if he's in a shared room they are probably concerned that he is disturbing others. Hugs for you both. -Heather
